V\u011bdci v\u00fdvoj trhliny sledovali ji\u017e od roku 2014 a o\u010dek\u00e1vali, \u017ee nakonec dojde k odlomen\u00ed obrovsk\u00e9ho ledovce.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ud\u00e1lost odlomen\u00ed<\/h2>\n\n<p>Dne 31. ledna 2023 v\u011bdci potvrdili, \u017ee se od Larsenovy ledov\u00e9 police C odlomil ledovec o velikosti Delaware. Ledovec o hmotnosti p\u0159es bilion tun je jedn\u00edm z nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edch, jak\u00e9 kdy byly zaznamen\u00e1ny.<\/p>\n\n<p>Adrian Luckman, glaciolog z Univerzity ve Swansea, uvedl: &#8220;Tuto ud\u00e1lost o\u010dek\u00e1v\u00e1me ji\u017e n\u011bkolik m\u011bs\u00edc\u016f a byli jsme p\u0159ekvapeni, jak dlouho trvalo, ne\u017e se trhlina prolomila p\u0159es posledn\u00edch p\u00e1r kilometr\u016f ledu.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Charakteristika ledovce<\/h2>\n\n<p>Ledovec m\u00e1 rozlohu p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 2 300 \u010dtvere\u010dn\u00edch mil a je dlouh\u00fd asi 120 mil. Jedn\u00e1 se o t\u0159et\u00ed hlavn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1st Larsenovy ledov\u00e9 police, kter\u00e1 se v posledn\u00edch desetilet\u00edch zhroutila. Prvn\u00ed, Larsenova A, se uvolnila v roce 1995, n\u00e1sledovan\u00e1 Larsenovou B v roce 2002.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dopad na hladinu mo\u0159e<\/h2>\n\n<p>P\u0159esto\u017ee se odlomen\u00ed ledovce p\u0159\u00edmo neprojev\u00ed na zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed hladiny mo\u0159e, proto\u017ee ji\u017e plaval na vod\u011b, m\u016f\u017ee m\u00edt nep\u0159\u00edm\u00e9 d\u016fsledky.
