V posledn\u00edch 150 letech v\u0161ak vegetace tyto duny stabilizovala, co\u017e dalo vzniknout zem\u011bd\u011blsk\u00fdm krajin\u00e1m, kter\u00e9 dnes vid\u00edme.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ned\u00e1vn\u00fd v\u00fdzkum geologa Daniela Muhse z U.S. Geological Survey a jeho koleg\u016f odhalil, \u017ee aktivita p\u00edse\u010dn\u00fdch dun byla v posledn\u00edch 1 000 letech mnohem v\u00fdrazn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, ne\u017e se d\u0159\u00edve p\u0159edpokl\u00e1dalo. Radiokarbonov\u00e9 datov\u00e1n\u00ed p\u016fd, kost\u00ed a artefakt\u016f identifikovalo v tomto obdob\u00ed v\u00fdznamn\u00fd pohyb p\u00edse\u010dn\u00fdch dun, a to i v posledn\u00edm stolet\u00ed a b\u011bhem sucha ve 30. letech 20. stolet\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">P\u0159\u00ed\u010diny reaktivace p\u00edse\u010dn\u00fdch dun<\/h2>\n\n<p>P\u00edse\u010dn\u00e9 duny pot\u0159ebuj\u00ed ke sv\u00e9 aktivaci dva kl\u00ed\u010dov\u00e9 faktory: nedostatek vegetace, kter\u00e1 by je dr\u017eela na m\u00edst\u011b, a siln\u00e9 v\u011btry, kter\u00e9 by p\u0159en\u00e1\u0161ely p\u00edsek. Prim\u00e1rn\u00edm faktorem reaktivace p\u00edse\u010dn\u00fdch dun je sucho, proto\u017ee oslabuje vegetaci a vystavuje hol\u00fd p\u00edsek v\u011btru.<\/p>\n\n<p>Modely zm\u011bny klimatu p\u0159edpov\u00eddaj\u00ed n\u00e1r\u016fst \u010detnosti a z\u00e1va\u017enosti sucha na Velk\u00fdch pl\u00e1n\u00edch. To by mohlo vytvo\u0159it podm\u00ednky nezbytn\u00e9 pro rozs\u00e1hlou reaktivaci p\u00edse\u010dn\u00fdch dun s potenci\u00e1ln\u011b ni\u010div\u00fdmi d\u016fsledky.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u016fsledky reaktivace p\u00edse\u010dn\u00fdch dun<\/h2>\n\n<p>Reaktivovan\u00e9 p\u00edse\u010dn\u00e9 duny mohou m\u00edt v\u00fdznamn\u00fd dopad na infrastrukturu a zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed.
