Od sv\u00e9ho prvn\u00edho nasazen\u00ed v roce 2015 se 192 optick\u00fdmi moduly byl upgradov\u00e1n na 288 modul\u016f, co\u017e z n\u011bj \u010din\u00ed nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed podvodn\u00ed observato\u0159 neutrin na severn\u00ed polokouli.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jedine\u010dn\u00e9 v\u00fdhody jezera Bajkal<\/h2>\n\n<p>Jedine\u010dn\u00e9 vlastnosti jezera Bajkal z n\u011bj \u010din\u00ed ide\u00e1ln\u00ed m\u00edsto pro detekci neutrin. Odhalen\u00edm z\u00e1had obklopuj\u00edc\u00edch neutrina doufaj\u00ed v\u011bdci, \u017ee z\u00edskaj\u00ed poznatky o nejran\u011bj\u0161\u00edch st\u00e1di\u00edch v\u00fdvoje vesm\u00edru, povaze temn\u00e9 hmoty a vzniku hv\u011bzd.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Konkurence pro IceCube: glob\u00e1ln\u00ed srovn\u00e1n\u00ed<\/h2>\n\n<p>Jako nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed podvodn\u00ed observato\u0159 neutrin na severn\u00ed polokouli se o\u010dek\u00e1v\u00e1, \u017ee teleskop Baikal-GVD bude konkurovat renomovan\u00e9 observato\u0159i neutrin IceCube um\u00edst\u011bn\u00e9 na ji\u017en\u00edm p\u00f3lu.
