Mezi kostmi, kter\u00e9 nasb\u00edral, byly i kosti dosud nezn\u00e1m\u00e9ho dinosaura. V roce 2009 paleontologov\u00e9 popsali Limusaura, 150 milion\u016f let star\u00e9ho teropoda velikosti krocan\u00edho s zob\u00e1kem p\u0159izp\u016fsoben\u00fdm klov\u00e1n\u00ed do list\u016f kapradin. To nazna\u010duje, \u017ee Chilesaurus hr\u00e1l v\u00fdznamnou ekologickou roli.
