Teplota na povrchu Venu\u0161e je \u017ehav\u00fdch 462 stup\u0148\u016f Celsia, co\u017e z n\u00ed \u010din\u00ed nej\u017ehav\u011bj\u0161\u00ed planetu v na\u0161\u00ed slune\u010dn\u00ed soustav\u011b. Atmosf\u00e9ra Venu\u0161e je tak\u00e9 neuv\u011b\u0159iteln\u011b hust\u00e1 a t\u011b\u017ek\u00e1 a skl\u00e1d\u00e1 se p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b z oxidu uhli\u010dit\u00e9ho. Maxwell Montes, nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed hora na Venu\u0161i, se ty\u010d\u00ed do v\u00fd\u0161ky 11 kilometr\u016f (6,8 mil) \u2013 o 3 kilometry (1,8 mil) v\u00fd\u0161e ne\u017e Mount Everest.
