V m\u00e9m p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b to byly macesov\u00e9 knedl\u00ed\u010dky.<\/p>\n\n<p>Chodila jsem n\u011bkolik let s jedn\u00edm mu\u017eem a p\u0159esto\u017ee jsme byli v jednu chv\u00edli zasnoubeni, nikdy jsem se od jeho rodiny opravdu nec\u00edtila p\u0159ijat\u00e1. A macesov\u00fd knedl\u00ed\u010dek byl t\u00edm kone\u010dn\u00fdm symbolem m\u00e9ho postaven\u00ed outsidera.<\/p>\n\n<p>Bez ohledu na to, kolikr\u00e1t jsem se o to pokusila, nemohla jsem ud\u011blat po\u0159\u00e1dn\u00fd macesov\u00fd knedl\u00ed\u010dek. Byly hutn\u00e9, gumov\u00e9 a sp\u00ed\u0161e p\u0159ipom\u00ednaly \u0161koln\u00ed pastu ne\u017e n\u011bco po\u017eivateln\u00e9ho.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u017d\u00e1dala jsem o radu ka\u017ed\u00e9ho: maminky, tety, rab\u00edny, dokonce i korejsk\u00e9 lah\u016fdk\u00e1\u0159stv\u00ed na rohu. Ale nic nefungovalo. Za\u010dala jsem m\u00edt podez\u0159en\u00ed, \u017ee tajemstv\u00ed lehk\u00fdch a nad\u00fdchan\u00fdch macesov\u00fdch knedl\u00ed\u010dk\u016f je pe\u010dliv\u011b st\u0159e\u017een\u00fdm rodinn\u00fdm tajemstv\u00edm, kter\u00e9 je odhaleno pouze t\u011bm, kdo konvertuj\u00ed k judaismu.<\/p>\n\n<p>Cel\u00e9 roky jsem to sv\u00e1d\u011bla na sv\u00e9 nedostate\u010dn\u00e9 kulin\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9 dovednosti. Mo\u017en\u00e1 jsem m\u011bla \u0161patnou macesovou mouku, nebo byla vejce p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 star\u00e1. Ale pot\u00e9, co jsme se roze\u0161li, jsem si uv\u011bdomila, \u017ee probl\u00e9m nebyl ve mn\u011b.<\/p>\n\n<p>Jemn\u00e9 nar\u00e1\u017eky jeho rodiny a neust\u00e1l\u00e9 srovn\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed s jeho \u017eidovsk\u00fdmi b\u00fdval\u00fdmi p\u0159\u00edtelkyn\u011bmi mi daly jasn\u011b najevo, \u017ee nikdy nebudu jednou z nich. A macesov\u00fd knedl\u00ed\u010dek byl neust\u00e1lou p\u0159ipom\u00ednkou toho.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quenellovo zjeven\u00ed<\/h2>\n\n<p>M\u011bs\u00edce po na\u0161em rozchodu jsem se ocitla, jak vzlyk\u00e1m do misky pol\u00e9vky s macesov\u00fdmi knedl\u00ed\u010dky v lah\u016fdk\u00e1\u0159stv\u00ed. Chyb\u011blo mi na n\u011bm v\u0161echno, dokonce i jeho neurotick\u00e1 rodina a jejich zap\u00e1chaj\u00edc\u00ed ko\u010dka. Ale nejv\u00edc ze v\u0161eho mi chyb\u011bly ty macesov\u00e9 knedl\u00ed\u010dky.<\/p>\n\n<p>V okam\u017eiku zoufalstv\u00ed jsem si uv\u011bdomila, \u017ee odpov\u011b\u010f byla celou dobu p\u0159ed m\u00fdma o\u010dima. Ty hloup\u00e9 quenelly, kter\u00e9 jsem si objednala na na\u0161\u00ed prvn\u00ed sch\u016fzce, dr\u017eely kl\u00ed\u010d.<\/p>\n\n<p>Myln\u011b jsem se domn\u00edvala, \u017ee quenelly jsou n\u011bjakou \u00fa\u017easnou francouzskou delikatesou. Ale byly to prost\u011b dumplings (noky), vyroben\u00e9 z lehk\u00e9ho a nad\u00fdchan\u00e9ho t\u011bsta. Uv\u011bdomila jsem si, \u017ee pokud ud\u011bl\u00e1m macesov\u00e9 knedl\u00ed\u010dky jako quenelly, budou perfektn\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vykoupen\u00ed macesov\u00fdch knedl\u00ed\u010dk\u016f<\/h2>\n\n<p>S obnoven\u00fdm odhodl\u00e1n\u00edm jsem si shrom\u00e1\u017edila z\u00e1soby a vydala se dob\u00fdt macesov\u00fd knedl\u00ed\u010dek. Byl to chaotick\u00fd proces, kdy v\u0161ude l\u00edtaly b\u00edlky a ku\u0159ec\u00ed tuk mi lepil na vlasy. Ale ve 4:30 r\u00e1no jsem m\u011bla svou pol\u00e9vku.<\/p>\n\n<p>A byla dokonal\u00e1. Kone\u010dn\u011b jsem zvl\u00e1dla ty nepolapiteln\u00e9 macesov\u00e9 knedl\u00ed\u010dky.
