Jej\u00ed v\u00e1\u0161e\u0148 pro fotografii za\u010dala v jej\u00edch dosp\u00edvaj\u00edc\u00edch letech a vystudovala vysokou \u0161kolu v Minnesot\u011b. Po promoci se p\u0159est\u011bhovala do Washingtonu, D.C. a New Yorku, aby hledala pr\u00e1ci jako fotografka.<\/p>\n\n<p>P\u0159es v\u00fdzvy, kter\u00fdm \u010delila jako \u017eena v oboru, Bubleyov\u00e9 talent a odhodl\u00e1n\u00ed nakonec upoutaly pozornost Edwarda Steichena, slavn\u00e9ho kur\u00e1tora fotografi\u00ed v Muzeu modern\u00edho um\u011bn\u00ed. Steichen ji povzbuzoval a pozd\u011bji vystavoval jej\u00ed pr\u00e1ce.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">V\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e1 a vl\u00e1dn\u00ed slu\u017eba<\/h2>\n\n<p>B\u011bhem druh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky pracovala Bubleyov\u00e1 pro \u00da\u0159ad v\u00e1le\u010dn\u00fdch informac\u00ed, tiskla fotografie a nat\u00e1\u010dela vz\u00e1cn\u00e9 knihy na mikrofilm. Ve sv\u00e9m voln\u00e9m \u010dase fotografovala svobodn\u00e9 pracuj\u00edc\u00ed \u017eeny a dokumentovala jejich p\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvky k v\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9mu \u00fasil\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n<p>V roce 1943 se Bubleyov\u00e1 vydala na \u0161estit\u00fddenn\u00ed cestu autobusem po cel\u00e9 zemi, na \u017e\u00e1dost \u0159editele fotografick\u00e9ho odd\u011blen\u00ed Roye Strykera. Jej\u00ed fotografie Ameri\u010dan\u016f ve v\u00e1lce, v\u010detn\u011b voj\u00e1k\u016f, n\u00e1mo\u0159n\u00edk\u016f a civilist\u016f, se staly ikonick\u00fdmi vyobrazen\u00edmi odolnosti a jednoty n\u00e1roda.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pov\u00e1le\u010dn\u00fd \u00fasp\u011bch<\/h2>\n\n<p>Po v\u00e1lce Bubleyov\u00e1 pokra\u010dovala v rozkv\u011btu jako nez\u00e1visl\u00e1 fotografka. V roce 1954 se stala prvn\u00ed \u017eenou, kter\u00e1 z\u00edskala prvn\u00ed cenu v sout\u011b\u017ei \u010dasopisu Photography za mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed d\u00edlo, za fotografii \u017een v Maroku po\u0159\u00edzenou pro UNICEF.<\/p>\n\n<p>Bubleyov\u00e1 tak\u00e9 vytvo\u0159ila \u0159adu obrazov\u00fdch esej\u016f o &#8220;Jak \u017eije Amerika&#8221; pro Ladies&#8217; Home Journal a zachycovala ka\u017edodenn\u00ed z\u00e1\u017eitky a aspirace oby\u010dejn\u00fdch Ameri\u010dan\u016f. Jej\u00ed pr\u00e1ce byla chv\u00e1lena za svou intimitu a schopnost nav\u00e1zat kontakt s div\u00e1ky na hluboce osobn\u00ed \u00farovni.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vliv na film noir<\/h2>\n\n<p>Bubleyov\u00e9 v\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9 fotografie \u017een pracuj\u00edc\u00edch v tov\u00e1rn\u00e1ch a kancel\u00e1\u0159\u00edch jsou p\u0159ipisov\u00e1ny vlivu na v\u00fdvoj \u017e\u00e1nru film noir. Jej\u00ed sn\u00edmky zobrazovaly siln\u00e9, nez\u00e1visl\u00e9 \u017eeny, kter\u00e9 se osvobozovaly od tradi\u010dn\u00edch rol\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pozd\u011bj\u0161\u00ed \u017eivot a odkaz<\/h2>\n\n<p>Bubleyov\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce si v posledn\u00edch letech z\u00edskala uzn\u00e1n\u00ed a ocen\u011bn\u00ed. Kongresov\u00e1 knihovna vybrala jej\u00ed d\u00edlo pro spu\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed webov\u00fdch str\u00e1nek v\u011bnovan\u00fdch fotoreport\u00e9rk\u00e1m. V v\u00fdznamn\u00fdch muze\u00edch se konaly velk\u00e9 v\u00fdstavy jej\u00edch d\u011bl a chyst\u00e1 se vydat kniha s jej\u00ed publicistikou.<\/p>\n\n<p>Odkaz Esther Bubleyov\u00e9 jako pr\u016fkopnice ve foto\u017eurnalistice je nesporn\u00fd. Jej\u00ed schopnost zachytit podstatu ka\u017edodenn\u00edho \u017eivota, jej\u00ed citlivost na spole\u010densk\u00e9 ot\u00e1zky a jej\u00ed neochv\u011bjn\u00e1 v\u00e1\u0161e\u0148 pro sv\u00e9 \u0159emeslo zanechaly trvalou stopu ve sv\u011bt\u011b fotografie.
